This section describes the most commonly used terms in the CPaaS Configuration API.

| Country Package as a Service (CPaaS) | Country Package as a Service (CPaaS) is a service offering designed to structure and gather country-specific legal requirements for every supported country regarding localization, fiscalization, reporting and tax invoicing. |
| Region Code | A region code can be a country code or a sub-region code, as defined by the ISO 3166–2 standards. The region code for Italy is it. The code for a sub-region of Italy may vary. For example, the region code of Calabria is it-78. |
| Topic Data | It is a logical set of data such as payment or taxes. |
| Payment Media | Media or Payment Media defines the type of the payment. For example, local currency, foreign, voucher, online Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), offline Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), etc. |
| Cash Payment Limit | Defines the maximum cash payment limit allowed for a company, citizen, and foreigner as per the fiscal laws of that particular country. In case a foreign citizen exceeds the maximum limit of cash payment, the POS must collect the customer data. For example, the maximum cash payment limit for citizens in Italy is €2,000, as of July 1, 2020. |
